Support the commemoration of over 40,000 nurses and midwives from across the Commonwealth who came to the UK between 1948 and 1973 to support the NHS during a critical period of staff shortages. Develop detailed design visuals and technical drawings for a permanent public statue-commissioned by Nubian Jak in partnership with Whittington Health and Islington Council—that symbolises the dedication and legacy of these healthcare professionals. The statue is to be installed on the Whittington Hospital site and should represent a stylised nurse or midwife in a respectful and enduring form.

Athena Creative Solutions produced high-quality computer-generated 3D models and visualisations of the commemorative statue, helping stakeholders clearly visualise the final piece in its intended setting. We also developed detailed CAD production drawings to communicate the design intent with precision, supporting fabrication and installation while preserving the symbolic and emotional value of the piece.
